People frequently ask me why I love Jackson Hole so much? When traveling all over the United States and the world, I am always excited to return home to Jackson Hole. If you are looking for a town with western heritage and recreational opportunities, Jackson Hole has everything you need: world-class skiing, fishing, hiking, open space, Grand Teton National Park, Yellowstone National Park, a vibrant art scene, famous restaurants and a solid community feel.
In my opinion, Jackson Hole is the perfect size. It is big enough that you can meet new people on a daily basis, but small enough where you frequently see familiar faces.
Winter can be long, but the summer months make it worth it. Most of the locals moved to Jackson Hole because of the skiing, but stay because of the gorgeous summers.
